Feature parity
The workflow you already know
Stocky merchants have been moving to Stockie for two years, and the gaps they reported are the reason several of these exist. This is the same job, done in a modern Shopify app.
- Purchase orders. Unlimited, in your supplier's currency, with per-line tax, a full draft to closed lifecycle and PDF or CSV export.
- Receiving and landed cost. Full or partial receipts, barcode scanning, and freight and duty allocated into true unit costs.
- Suppliers, decoupled from vendors. Real supplier records with contacts, currency, lead times and supplier part codes, rather than Shopify's single vendor field.
- Min and max levels. The numeric levels Stocky built its workflow around, per item and per location, alongside demand forecasting for the items that suit it.
- Stocktakes and adjustments. Full counts and cycle counts with barcode scanning and variance review, reconciled through an audited adjustments trail.
- Average cost. A weighted average cost per variant backed by a receipt ledger, so valuation accounts for the quantities received at each cost.
Worth knowing
Bring your records across
Shopify provides read-only access to export Stocky data for at least 90 days after 31 August 2026. Save the records you need while that access is available. Existing export files can still be imported later.
- Save supplier details separately. Stocky has no supplier export. While you can still view its records, copy contacts, lead times and minimum order quantities into a file and send it with your exports.
- Costs come from Stock on Hand. In Stocky, run Stocky Reports, then Stock on Hand with current cost selected, and export. That single export covers supplier costs.
- Average cost needs a second export. If you want average cost seeded as well, export Stock on Hand a second time toggled to average cost.
- Reconcile open orders before activating them. Imported open orders arrive as drafts. Stocky is now read-only, so contact us to reconcile remaining quantities and any existing incoming stock in Shopify before marking the drafts ordered. This avoids counting the same incoming stock twice.

Migration questions
Is it too late to migrate?
No. We can import existing export files, and Shopify provides read-only export access for at least 90 days after 31 August 2026. If you still have access, export your history and save supplier details now. Contact us if you are unsure what to collect.
Who actually does the import?
A person on our team. You send us your exports through support, we import your suppliers, costs and purchase order history, check the result against your store, and tell you what landed and what did not. There is no self-serve wizard to fight with.
How long does it take?
Most stores are running within a day or two of sending files, and the app itself is usable immediately. The import is about bringing history across, not about getting started.
What does it cost?
The migration is included. Pro is $29.99 USD a month and Pro Plus is $59.99, with a 14-day trial. Purchasing, receiving and stocktakes require Pro Plus. Your selected subscription starts billing after the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
What if something did not come across correctly?
Tell us and we will fix it. We check the import against your store before calling it done, and we would rather find a problem in the first week than have you discover it at a stocktake.
